Encapsulating the spirit and identity of a development project before its construction is never an easy task, more so, when this iconic building was one of the last to be designed by the late Zaha Hadid. The developers vision and unrelenting drive together with the architects genius were the ideal springboard and core drivers for our team on this project.
The input from the architects team in London and the developers team working in Malta, helped us craft an iconic design that needed to reflect and bring to life the uniqueness of the building. The balance of the sharp lines and the fluid trademark curves from the early architects sketches, needed to support an identity system that could translate across various touch points – even at early pre-construction phase.
We created all the necessary elements for a brand mark that was strong enough to be and remain a recognisable identity over time, and still offer some flexibility so it could evolve as the project moved through its various phases towards completion.
